I came to the hospital for my first consultation on November 6th, and luckily, I was able to have the surgery just two days later.
Since M-shaped hair loss has progressed a lot, hair follicles were used not only to lower the forehead line but also to fill the empty upper part. People with very wide foreheads like me say that it's better not to be too greedy to lower your forehead line a lot.
The surgery started around 10 a.m. and finished around 3:30 p.m. Excluding the break time, the total operation time was 3 hours and 37 minutes.
The anesthetic injection was carried out while inhaling laughter gas, so you could not feel much pain. The anesthesia was properly performed, so there was no pain in both the collection and transplantation process. However, during the collection process, it may be inconvenient for your face to be pressed against the bed while lying on your stomach.
The next day was Sunday, so I finished the surgery, put on a bandage, and then lived in a beanie for 12 days. I had a slight headache due to the pressure of the bandage and my head was a little itchy, but I didn't do any intense activities, so I didn't have much discomfort. I was prescribed and took inflammatory drugs and painkillers, but even if I didn't take them all, there were no major symptoms in my case.
