I'm a man in his mid-30s who is suffering from M-shaped hair loss. There seems to be some circular hair loss as well. It's been more than two years since I ate pinasteride. I've been applying minoxidil for 5 years. I'm living abroad, so I'm thinking about going to Korea next year and getting a Hair Transplant or a wig, but I don't know which one would be better. I know Hair Transplant is a surgery to plant the back of your hair forward, but the overall thinning has decreased so much over the past five years that I'm not sure how much Hair Transplant will work. I've also reduced the volume a lot and most of all, my hair doesn't grow as fast as it used to... ㅠㅠ도 I'm worried because there are many cases where reoperation is needed. There are people who are worse than me, but I'm worried because I can't go to Korea often.
That's why I'm also thinking about wigs. A wig YouTuber told me that he had Hair Transplant twice and went with a wig after realizing that he could never look his old self. I have a wide forehead since I was young, so I'm more worried. I think there is a limit to having hair in your 30s and 20s only with Hair Transplant, so I'm considering wearing a wig.
It would be the best if my Hair Transplant went well, but I'm not sure because I don't have that much hair. I'm more worried because it's a job where you have to see a lot of people. Which do you think would be better, a wig or a hair transplant?
