It's my first time experiencing hair transplantation, and I'm writing with the hope that my experience will be a little helpful.
I decided to have surgery to put an end to my hair loss life, which I had hidden in a wig for 15 years as a person with paternal inheritance hair loss.
I went to Dana Plastic Surgery last year and got counseling.
I knew that people with severe hair loss like me do a lot of surgery here, and I found out that it was a place with good professionalism by watching YouTube at this hospital once in a while, so I had faith even before I visited.
I consulted with Director Park Jong-ok, and he recommended me to perform two surgeries, first with 3,000 hair follicles, and then after 10 months, I saw the results and suggested a second operation by calculating the amount of transplantation.
In addition, after hearing the realistic words that even if I had surgery like this, it would not be as effective as wearing a wig, I thought that he gave me a consultation that grasped me objectively.
The director talked well about the surgical and practical aspects of whether he consulted a lot of hair loss people like me, and he asked me to take medicine first and then surgery, so I didn't do the surgery right away.
On the long-awaited surgery day, I rescheduled the surgical design with the director and trusted the director's opinion and design, so I followed my opinion without giving it. The operating room had about six people participating in the surgery for one of me, and I was able to see that the cost of the surgery was extremely normal when I saw the effort to do it by hand during that long period of time.
Collecting was a bit difficult because I had to sit tight in one position.
It wasn't comfortable because I couldn't move my body and added tension. However, I found a sense of stability little by little with the consideration of the medical staff who checked my condition in the middle. I had a hair transplant on August 27th. It's already been two weeks because time goes by so fast. I went to the hospital yesterday and checked the progress of the second week. The director looked at it and told me that it is time for the dark age to begin, and I will come back after I fall out, so don't be too anxious. They said you can think of it as a process of losing your hair.
I filled in the M-shape a little and transplanted it around the front and top of the head. A total of 4,000mo was held. When I consulted again, the director recommended that it was the most natural to look at my head and hair style, so I trusted and left it to him.
I was so nervous when I entered the operating room, but I had a stinging feeling when the injection came in, and other than that, I was fine. The anesthesia was done properly, so there was no pain after that. The process of collecting and transplanting followed, about 5 hours? 6 hours?I think I was in the hospital.
I usually cut my hair short and wear a hat often, so I thought about it and proceeded with a non-cut shaved head. The director did everything from collection to transplantation, and I felt that he was meticulous while watching.
