<After hair transplantation (9 days)>

Hello, I'm sharing the review of the incision hair transplant at Apgujeong Moorim

Currently, on the 9th day, the M-shaped hair loss was intensively transplanted. It took about 4 hours for the CEO's procedure, and it went to sleep

[On the day of surgery]

Considering the company's schedule, we decided to proceed at 2 p.m., and the actual surgery started around 2:20.

Before surgery, we checked the current hair condition, took pictures, and checked blood pressure, and we were guided to the recovery room and waited for about 20 minutes before entering the operating room. I went into surgery after a brief hairline consultation with the CEO in the operating room, and if you have a style you want, such as a hairline, you can communicate again at this time. (I proceeded as recommended by the director, and I was told that men usually don't really talk about the style they want.)

Surgery is divided into incisions and transplants, which are performed by lying back during incisions and lying forward during transplantation. I'm going to sleep, so I don't remember the operation. I didn't have any pain, but I think I woke up for a while and fell asleep repeatedly during the transplant. When the surgery was completed, the director woke me up, and I woke up at this time and moved back to the recovery room.

Since I fasted for 8 hours, I asked the nurse for a snack as soon as I moved to the recovery room, and they provided juice and snacks. I spent about 20 minutes in the recovery room in a slightly dazed state because my sleep anesthesia was not completely resolved, and I had no pain. My wife visited the hospital after work and returned home by subway together. Rather than being sick, I think the biggest feeling was that I was hungry!!!

Tip: If you are planning to proceed with sleep anesthesia, I recommend surgery in the morning. The surgery was completed around 6:30 p.m., but I fasted from 6 a.m., so I was very hungry

[Day 2~Hyunjae (Day 9 of surgery)]

I performed the surgery on December 9th (Friday), and after taking a total of 4 days off until Monday, I went to work from Wednesday. On the second day of the operation, I visited the hospital, heard about the progress of the operation with the CEO, and conducted a head cold and laser treatment(?). I didn't have much pain with the transplant site and incision site, but I felt like I was pulling constantly.

It is difficult to accurately describe the pain, but the occipital incision feels like a tight grip on the back of the head with your hands, and the transplant continues to feel like it is being pulled out with both hands. I feel like it's not a pain!!

I continued to use the birth spray given by the hospital until the 5th day. It was used every 30 minutes on the day of surgery and every 2 hours on the second day of surgery. I set the time with the Apple Watch, so I was able to spray it every designated time. I used up all the spray on the 5th day, so I didn't use any other products after that

To tell you the inconvenience, I think it will be summarized as 1) dragonfly, 2) itch, and 3) hair styling

1) Dragonfly: Because of the occipital incision rather than the implantation area, I feel pressure on the incision when I sleep upright. This seems to have a psychological effect too, but for the first three days, I slept on the reclining chair in the living room, and I felt a little better when I folded a towel around my neck and fell asleep. But I didn't sleep well. From day 5, I was able to sleep straight in bed, and I woke up 1 or 2 times in the middle (I think you can understand it as discomfort rather than pain)

2) Itch: It feels throughout the transplant site and the incision site. Rather than continuing, there are moments when it's hard to bear. It seems that the process of biting the wound and the situation of not washing the hair properly are combined. The hospital will wash your hair on day two, but you will have to wash your hair alone at home from day three, and the transplant will be done using the shampoo (?) given by the hospital, and the rest will need to be gently scrubbed with your fingers. The transplant area was washed only with water 5 minutes after shampooing, and the rest was washed by rubbing with fingers. I usually finish showering in 5 minutes including washing my hair, but it takes about 30 minutes!!

The drying process also needs to be dried with a dryer cold wind or a fan, but I usually dry it for about 15 minutes with a fan, and only used a dryer at the end. The hair-drying process also takes 20 minutes (usually within 5 minutes) and after drying, I disinfected the incision with my wife's help every day with red medicine. The current condition is that the incision is neatly sutured and recovering, and the transplant area is showing dead skin cells and dandruff. It seems like there's nothing we can do about it

3) Hair styling: My M-shape is deep and my hair is very thin, so I used the product to cover the empty part of the side of my hair and fix it, but it's hard to use the product after transplantation and the drying process is getting longer, so it's too hard to make a hairstyle. The weather is cold, and if there is wind, my head will float. On cold days, the transplant area is dull

Tip: If you're an office worker, it'll take about an hour more than usual to wash, dry, and style your hair

[Others]

1. HEALTH: I'm in my early 40s and I've been doing home training about six times a week before my hair transplant. As a result of hospital inquiries, Health recommended proceeding after a month of transplantation. I planned to do home training two weeks after the transplant, but at this point, I think it'll take a month

2. Hospital Decision: I've had about 4 consultations. As a result, I think the reason why I chose Mo Woo-rim is because of the trust in the CEO, the sincere consultation of Director Lee Hye-jin, and the price!! Thank you so much for responding sincerely even though the surgery schedule was delayed several times due to personal reasons after the initial reservation. (My wife said CEO's dialect + standard language increased her trust.)^^)

3. Post-operative leave: I'm an office worker, so I thought about how long I should take off after the surgery to go to work. At this point, it would be better to secure as much break time as possible, considering many of the aforementioned inconveniences rather than pain. I took 4 days off after surgery, but if I had known in advance, I would have taken 5 days off a week!!

This was the review of the hair transplant. My biggest hope at this point is that I hope the results of proceeding with this inconvenience come out well!! I think I'm going to experience a lot of joy, anger and sorrow over the next year, and I want to spend time sharing a lot of information at the cafe and sharing my small experience
