On January 17, 2026, I received a non-cutaneous Hair Transplant from Director Seok Ji-woong at the Mammoth Hair Restoration Center.
Originally, I had little hair, so I rarely tried the style I wanted to do properly, and I felt that my confidence was getting less and less confident. After thinking about it for about a year, I decided to have surgery. I've been taking dutasteride and minoxidil in the meantime, but after the consultation, I changed to keep only dutasteride.
The operation was performed in a non-cut manner, and it took about 3 hours and 40 minutes in total. The pain was only for anesthesia, and it wasn't unbearable. There was nothing very uncomfortable with the laughter gas. There was some discomfort because I had to lie down for a long time during the collection process, but I didn't get sick.
On the day of the operation, I felt my head had grown overall, with a slight unpleasant smell and a damp feeling remaining. After the operation, I wrapped it in gauze, fixed it with plastic wrap, put a beanie on it, and I was told not to take it off until I visited the hospital again. There was little swelling.
However, the itching began to rise little by little the next evening. I didn't scratch it as I was guided by the hospital, but I endured it by tapping my finger lightly.
It's still in its early stages, so it's too early to tell you the results, but the surgery wasn't too much of a burden and it was good overall.
