Hair transplantation is more important than anything else because the final result is finally confirmed after a year.

It is a space where members are diagnosed with their condition after surgery and counseled on postoperative management, case-by-case occurrence, and additional supplementation methods.

It has the most clinical data in the world, where doctors related to hair transplantation also visit to study cases.

Thank you to all the seniors who left a meaningful record that can't express its value to someone preparing for surgery.

Leaving photo data after surgery is also "patient strength" and is a strong insurance policy against future unexpected surgical outcomes.

a hair transplant instrument

I have M-shaped hair loss due to my family history, so I've been feeling that both sides of my forehead look a little empty. So I tried to slow down the progress of hair loss as much as possible by steadily taking avodat from about three years ago.

I felt like I was maintained to some extent while taking the medication, but I felt there was a limit to filling up the already deep M-line. In the meantime, people who had Hair Transplant started to appear one by one, and there was a family member who actually had surgery, and the satisfaction level was very high. Seeing that, naturally, I started to become interested in Hair Transplant.

Then, I kept looking at various reviews, and as I kept looking at the surgical process, the outcome pictures, and the story of the birth rate, my thoughts gradually changed to specific plans.

Hospital selection

When I looked up the hospital, the most important thing I thought was the incidence rate. I didn't think the cost was very important. Because I thought the results were the most important if it was a single operation anyway.

As I kept looking at the reviews, I noticed a hospital with stable results and good reviews, although the cost is a little bit high. So I decided to get counseling for only one hospital.

When I actually received counseling, I felt that the counseling process itself was quite private. While checking the scalp and hair conditions in a calm atmosphere, I was able to hear explanations about the current situation and the direction of surgery. It was not an atmosphere that recommended surgery, and it was good to talk about the design and the direction of implantation to the extent that it was practically possible.

It was a typical M-shaped hair loss form, and I was told that it would be better to create a natural line to match the ratio of the face rather than overstretching the forehead line. Overall, I was convinced and I gained trust.

I set the date for the surgery as soon as I received the consultation.

the day of surgery

On the day of the surgery, I arrived at the hospital and was guided and started preparing. I changed into a surgical suit and had time to catch the transplant design with the director. Looking at the mirror, I checked the forehead line myself and matched the design, and this process felt quite important than I thought.

The design was not confirmed at once, but it was revised three times in total while continuing to check during the operation. It's a very slight difference, but I felt that it was carefully adjusted for the naturalness of the line, so I rather trusted it more.

in surgery

It allowed me to choose the music I wanted to listen to before I started my surgery. The song that just came out was New Age, and I chose New Age music because I wanted to feel a comfortable atmosphere like a massage shop. Thanks to this, I was able to start the surgery with a more stable feeling than a tense atmosphere.

The anesthesia started as a laughing gas. I feel a little dazed while I'm breathing gas, and the image that popped into my head at that moment was strangely movie Inception. It's hard to explain exactly, but it felt like the boundary between reality and dreams. At the same time, I could hardly feel the sensation of pain.

In the surgical process, a slit was first performed to make a hole in the transplant site, and then a hair follicle was collected from the occipital region. After the collection, there was a short break, and then there was a time to have a simple lunch with gimbap. Since it was a longer surgery than I thought, I felt rather comfortable because I had a break like this.

After that, the collected hair follicles were transplanted one by one. The entire operation lasted about four hours. It was difficult to lie down in the same position, but after hearing the medical staff focusing on the surgery, I saw the position of the doctor's Crocs shoes changing little by little, and I thought about whether I intentionally took out the heel ring with my head.

I was able to change the music one more time before moving on to the transplant stage, but this time I chose the latest song. It could have been boring as the surgery was carried out in a conscious state, but the music came out and the doctor guided the conversation with a light topic in the middle, so time went by better than I thought. Thanks to that atmosphere, I think it helped me to endure a long operation time.

after surgery

I think I am grateful to Director Seok Ji-woong for focusing on the surgery for a long time. Blogging that makes your experience easier for patients to understand is also very helpful.

It looks awkward and incomplete now, but from now on, it seems like all we have to do is wait for the transplanted hairs to settle down over time.
