I've been consulted at a few places, and follow-up care should be refrained from shampooing as much as possible until the 2nd or 3rd day. If you're going to do it, they told me to apply Vaseline on the treatment area, wash my hair gently, and start shampooing like I'm gently rubbing my finger on the 4th day.

I was told to apply Vaseline in the morning and evening for the next two weeks, do I have to do this consistently?
