Hello, I'm 42 years old this year, and I'm in a pretty advanced state of M-shaped hair loss.
It's been going up little by little since my late 20s, and by the mid-30s, my bang line has almost turned into a "c" shape, and lately, I've been getting a lot of attention because my forehead looks so wide every time I take a picture.
I used to endure it by covering it with hats or bangs, but now I have limitations in style, so I decided to treat it. I looked up a few places and received counseling at the hc clinic near exit 2 of Gangnam Station, and I was trusted by carefully checking the scalp condition, hair thickness, and density.
For treatment, drug prescription + injection are performed in parallel. According to the director, my condition can be slow with drugs alone, so it's better to go with the procedure at the beginning.
To be honest, there was no big change in the first week, but rather, after the procedure, my scalp got a little red and it stung, so I thought, 'Did I start for no reason?' However, as the second week passed, the number of hair that fell out when washing my hair decreased, and I saw fine hairs rising little by little on both sides of the forehead.
It's not a thick hair yet, but it feels different when I look in the mirror because I can see cloudy hair on the empty part before. Above all, I feel like the pace of hair loss has definitely slowed down.
The hospital is located for 2-3 minutes on foot from exit 2 of Gangnam Station, so it's easy to stop by after work, and the staff carefully manages before and after the procedure, so it's less burdensome.
It's still in the beginning, but I think there will be definitely a change if I continue, so I'm going to go all the way this time.
If you're worried about the M shape like me, I'd like to tell you to start before it's too late.
Next time, I will upload a picture of the change in the 2nd to 3rd month.
