First of all, I found out the wrong common sense about hair loss, and I tried to solve the curiosity about the wig by experiencing it myself.

·Misconceptions and prejudices about hair loss

The wrong common sense about hair loss is introduced in "Let's Be a Hair (毛) Man" written by 20 dermatologists of the Korean Hair Association. The first is 'I'm losing my hair because of stress'. Dermatologists point out that the story sounds unfounded. Prisoners serving time in prison are stressed, but hair loss does not progress for that reason. There has never been a paper reported in academia that proves that mental stress has increased hair loss. Hair loss is increasing among middle and high school students who have a lot of stress on entrance exams. However, these are circular hair loss that often occurs at that age due to autoimmune mechanisms.

Black beans are said to be good for baldness. Soybean contains a large amount of an antioxidant called polyphenol, which helps prevent hair loss. However, we cannot cure baldness and return it to its previous state.

Do bald people have good energy? Dihydrotestosterone, an androgen that causes baldness, is independent of male sexual function. Dermatologists estimate, "This misconception may have been because people who felt sad due to baldness wanted to be comforted that they were energetic."

·Over-the-top advertising related to hair loss

In light of professional counseling and personal experience, advertisements that are "100% heady" can be considered fraudulent. Drugs such as minoxidil have the effect of preventing or slowing the progression of hair loss. Fluff grows and temporarily increases hair, but when treatment is stopped, it immediately returns to its original state. Eventually, hair loss patients are forced to choose between a skinhead hairstyle, a Hair Transplant, or a wig. All three are not easy choices. I decided to find out about wigs that are advertising a lot these days.

I was introduced to the Busan Station branch of Kim Chan-wol Gamo located in front of Busan Station and knocked on the door. Some office workers say they have no choice but to wear wigs because they are always treated like superiors even if they go out with their bosses because of their appearance. After those in their 30s, they look for wigs in their 40s, 20s, and 50s.

·I tried on the wig myself

I tried the wig on my head myself. My heart fluttered as to what it would look like. I didn't feel as much weight as I thought. I remembered the frustration I felt when I wore my hat for a long time, but not really. It feels like I put it on my head a little bit. It is much lighter than a hat. The industry often says it's an expensive hat.

There are attachable and detachable types depending on the attachment method. The attachment type is mainly used for topical hair loss, and it is small and light. Once attached, you don't have to wear it for about a month in a row or take it off when you wash your hair. Detachable uses a clip-like fixture to fix the wig to the remaining hair. It is hygienic because it can be worn only when necessary and taken off in the shower or when sleeping. It can also be taken off and washed, so it can be used for a long time.

·Curious about wigs

As the hair loss market expands, there are more and more companies specializing in wigs. The more companies that advertise, the more familiar they are, but there is not much difference in technology in the wig industry. However, since it has to be managed periodically, the convenience of management varies depending on the number of branches. The price of wigs is usually 1 million won to 1.5 million won, and the life expectancy is usually 2 to 3 years. Wigs are done when the netting is damaged. If the net is thin, it is convenient, but it is easy to damage, so you should pay attention to that at first. Wouldn't it be uncomfortable to wear a wig?

Lim said, "Of course, it's uncomfortable to wear a wig. However, if the inconvenience is 4, the confidence after wearing a wig is 6. That's why I keep wearing wigs." I asked him, "I'm sweating a lot, will it be okay?" It doesn't matter. This is the question that everyone who comes here is most curious about. Sweat on the head is correlated with hair loss. If you sweat a lot, hair loss becomes worse. Custom wigs take about 20 to 25 days after ordering.
