Hello, I'm a man in his early 30s living in Gang Sangdo ^^
I'm just posting a review of the general hospital's check-up for your reference
Nothing much...
I'm sorry if you're taking a backseat
I had rhinitis symptoms since I was young
So I've been recommended for a long time to have surgery related to the local otolaryngology mask
But this surgery was a non-essential option, so I've been putting it off all this time
If I knew this would happen, I'd have surgery before wearing a wig
That's a bit of a bummer lol
It's rhinitis. It's a surgery related to the nose
I made an appointment to the general hospital a few days ago by phone
I was talking to him on the phone and he did a simple X-ray before surgery, blood tests, electrocardiogram tests, and so on
After a few simple tests like that, they're going to set a date for surgery
The examination was this morning
So I prepared a little bit in advance yesterday
For my wig, the sides and hair are clip-type and the bangs are tap-type
I've heard that clip-type is not available for X-rays
I removed all the clips on the side and back of the old wig
In short, you have to fix it with a tape
In the morning, I wore clothes to go to the hospital and wore a wig with only bangs taped
Since it's not a strong tape, I just fixed the tape in the front and was a bit nervous to wear a wig, so I wore a wig and a cap hat on top of it
I was thinking of going to the hospital and wearing a wig and a cap hat, and then taking off the cap for a little while when I got an X-ray
As it was time to go to the hospital in the morning, I started to get a little nervous
I've never had a checkup since I wore a wig
It's the first time I've ever been nervous about a checkup LOL
I registered on the first floor and had an interview with the doctor in charge
During the interview with the teacher, I put the camera in my nose and talked while looking at the inside of my nose on the screen
He grabbed my hair a little bit I was a bit anxious at this time
And we talked about surgery
The surgery is general anesthesia, and the hospital stay is about three days
I knew in advance that the hospitalization period for general anesthesia was about 3 days through an Internet search, so I was calm about that to some extent
During the interview, I asked the doctor a question.... lol
I - "Hey... "I don't know if I can say this."
Teacher - "Yes, feel free to say anything"
B - "Actually, I'm wearing a wig, so would it not interfere with surgery or hospitalization?"
The teacher is asking me a question unexpectedly
He was a young doctor about 40 years old. He's a veteran
Teacher - "Is it detachable by any chance? Or is it a fixed type?"
I feel at ease because you know a little about wigs
B - "It's currently detachable, but I'm going to temporarily switch to stationary while I'm in the hospital after surgery."
Teacher - "So do you have any clips on your wig during surgery? Because if there is a metal substance during surgery, it can burn it."
B - "Yes... no metal at all because I'm going to remove the clip when I switch to stationary"
Sir - "That's fine then.... "If there is no metal material, there is no need to take off the wig during surgery or hospitalization, so you don't have to worry."
B - "Oh that's a relief, then I'll tell you again on the day of surgery.... Please pay special attention to your head when you have surgery"
Teacher - "Yes sir...."I rarely touch my hair during surgery, but I might forget it, so please let me know again on the morning of the surgery."
I - "Yes, I will"
That was the interview with Mr. Lee lol
After the interview with the doctor, I waited a little and went for a brief checkup
The blood test is a blood draw on your arm, no big problems
The urine test was to go to the bathroom and get the urine, so there was no big problem
He told me to take off my hat and jacket when I did the ECG
So I wore a wig and took off the hat I wore on top of it and got inspected, so there was no problem
When I took X-rays, they told me to take off everything except the running shirt
So I took off my jacket, took off my shirt, wore a wig, and took off my hat lol
Since only the bangs are fixed with a tape, it's better to wear a shirt and take it off rather than a t-shirt ^^
Finally, I also X-rayed the nose... They told me to take off my hat and jacket
So I took off my jacket, wore a wig, and took off my hat
But when I took X-rays on my nose, the X-ray guy grabbed my head and touched it a little bit... Even then, I was a bit anxious
But I did X-ray without any problems
All the tests have been completed safely lol
I have to go back to the hospital a week later to hear about the results of the examination, the exact date of the surgery, and the operation
I've never had any health problems while undergoing a medical examination, so I think the test results will be okay...
Now the problem is surgery and hospital stay for 3 days lol
It's general anesthesia, so the surgery goes on while I'm unconscious and asleep
When I'm in the hospital for 3 days, I switch to a temporary fixed type, so I don't think there's a big problem because the fixed strength is hard...
When I'm in surgery, when I'm unconscious... That's a bit of a concern
But the doctor asked me to tell you one more time on the day of surgery, so he'd be more careful lol
Anyway... I'm glad I got through today...
What I felt today is that in the future, things like this will happen from time to time when you have a medical checkup or take X-rays, etc., but I'm a clip-on on the side and the back of my hair... This kind of test is a bit too much...
So next time I get a wig, I think I need to get one in a tap style instead of a clip type
I know everything, but I'm sorry if you're taking a backseat
If you're a beginner, please refer to it
This is not a must-do operation,,,
It's a surgery of choice, you can do it or you can't do it...
I risked about three days of inconvenience caused by the wig
I've decided to have surgery for a better quality life in the future
I can't wash my hair for about 3 days and it's very frustrating, but I have more days to live, so I have to live with it
Thank you for reading this long message. I'll cut it short now
If you have any know-how during PS surgery and hospital stay, please let me know in the comments. lol
