[Coming Out with Wig] A wig I've been wearing for four years, I've decided not to wear it anymore.

I haven't had a lot of hair since I was young. When I went to the playground since elementary school, my scalp stood out more in the intense sunlight, so my friends used to tease me. But I just thought I didn't have a lot of hair. However, since I was 20 years old when I started drinking alcohol, I started to lose weight rapidly. When I went to the hair salon to cut my hair, I always had to get a sales call to get care because I had little hair. And the hairstyle that I can do suddenly disappeared. After returning to the military, it was embarrassing to go outside if I didn't wear a hat. I was also prescribed medicine at the hospital (Profecia), and when I wasn't sure, I paid 2.5 million won to get hair loss care. From the time I couldn't eat Professionalsia because I didn't have enough money, it got faster, but I left it that way. I tried to turn a blind eye. Maybe I just thought it would be okay to have a girlfriend, but as soon as I graduated from school, I broke up.
It was the worst that I didn't have a lot of hair in my self-esteem that had already collapsed. It's the worst. I couldn't accept the breakup at all, so I had to change something So I started wearing a wig. Then four years ago, I took off my wig. So I'm going to share the disadvantages I felt while wearing a wig. It's extremely subjective. Maybe I'm the only one who feels it. You all know the advantages of wigs, so I'll sort out the disadvantages. I think those who are already using it will know. I hope that those who are about to wear wigs can keep that in mind. I'm rewriting what I wrote on my blog.
*The disadvantage is based on the 'fixed wig' that must always be attached.
The first disadvantage, frustration, in a way, is the deadliest disadvantage. I'm wearing a hat 24 hours a year. They say it's breathable, but the stuffy feeling of something hanging over it doesn't go away. I feel like my entire scalp is covered up. Of course, I get used to it when I'm using it. There were times when I was in a hurry and touched my hair thinking, "Did I not wear a wig?" But as soon as you recognize it, the frustration starts again. I'm only getting used to it a little bit. The fact that it's frustrating doesn't change. The last hot summer days gave my scalp jail time. The frustration has narrowed people's minds. My radius of activity was reduced and I didn't want to go outside. If you're going to start a wig, I think you should definitely recognize this frustration. It depends on the individual, but I haven't gotten used to it for four years. Of course, some people are familiar with it. The second disadvantage is that many people are curious about how to wash your hair if you use a sanitary fixed wig. I was actually most curious, too. In conclusion, it is possible to wind it up. But it's very limited. On a hot summer day, sweat that flows on a day when you exercise hard can't break through the wig. Sweat stuck between the wig and the scalp causes odor. In some cases, it is similar to the smell of feet. That's why I always had to spray perfume on my hair as well. I was happiest when I washed my hair every morning. But it was hard to do it twice a day It's tricky to take care of and the wig's life is greatly reduced. Once I got tangled up, I lost all my time after work. You can't even wrap it perfectly. You have to wash your hair with the wig attached while wearing it. The front of the wig is not fixed completely, so keep it slightly open and use a toothbrush to wash the scalp. Even that, the toothbrush doesn't fit well in the back, so you have to be satisfied that the shampoo is stained. I made my own bent brush and used it, but it wasn't very efficient. In addition, the areas that are tightly glued together with glue can't be wound until you go to the wig shop. It takes a lot of effort to wear a wig clean. The third disadvantage is that it leads to two disadvantages: itchiness. The itchiness is really the worst.Once again, it's the worst. You can't scratch your head while you're wearing a wig. When you work, you can't open the wig and put your hands in it to scratch. In addition, even if it's an adhesive that's less harmful to the human body, it feels quite stimulating. If my scalp was inflamed, it was really the worst itchy. The thought of wanting to rip off all the wigs reigns over my head all day. When I tap on the itchy area, I get a severe headache. Especially when I use the wig, my skin is weak, and I've been itchy all the time, and I've been living with headaches. I almost couldn't work properly because I went to the bathroom and secretly scratched my head. I couldn't even wash it properly, but it even itch, so it was incredibly painful.
Fourth weakness, anxiety. This can vary depending on your personality, but wearing a wig makes me anxious every day. Even when it's windy, it sticks to my head first. It's more embarrassing for the wig to fly than to have no hair. And I was nervous on the bus or subway because I thought I might be caught with a wig. I thought someone would notice and tease me inside. One time, a colleague I was close to at work said, "Yes, your hair looks like a wig today." My heart sinks. I was anxious all day long when that happened. Women have really sharp eyes. If that happens repeatedly, I avoid him. I'm nervous about playing in the water when I go on a trip. I'm also nervous about going on the rides. I can't go to the water park. The owner of the wig shop says it's okay because it doesn't fall off, but I can't challenge myself If you "just in case" come off at least once, it's because of the thought of being a disgrace. When I had to stay out with my girlfriend or friend, when I went to the countryside on holidays, etc., I always had to stay on my toes when I left the house. I drank a lot, and I couldn't even go to my friend's house. If I don't have care supplies in my house, I can't take care of them properly, and I was wondering if the wig would come off while I was sleeping. The sound of someone going on a trip is the scariest. In addition, after wearing a wig for about six months, the hair of the wig will fall out and the surface of the wig will be exposed in places. I try to cover it with dry and black, but I was always afraid that this part would be visible. So my travel has always been unstable and my life itself has always been unstable. I had to give up a lot because I was worried that the wig would come off.
Fifth disadvantage, I haven't used expensive wigs advertised on cost TV. I went to a small place that I did individually. But it was expensive.. It costs about 600,000 won to repair a wig, and it costs more than 100,000 won a year, including monthly maintenance fees and wig supplies. If I send one, I need another one to be used in the meantime, so it's not enough to buy one at first. Wigs are less durable than you think. I tend to take good care of myself, so I've used it for quite a long time, but I think those who lack care will be surprised by the durability of the wig. Once you start falling in, you endlessly fall in. Wigs are expensive items. It seems to be a very harsh price for those who have hair loss at an early age, who are new to society.
Sixth discomfort If you wear a wig, you can't lie down comfortably. I don't think I've been able to lie down comfortably for years. When I lie down, I feel a foreign body feeling that there is a wig. I feel pressure on one side somewhere. It's uncomfortable to lie down in any position, and you have to toss and turn for a long time before bed to find a position where you can't feel the wig as much as possible. I've changed my pillow numerous times, but it didn't help much. It's become a habit to sleep with your hands on your head. I've also developed chronic muscle pain. I have shoulder pain, neck pain, migraines, and these things have come as usual.

Before I conclude, I'm not going to wear a wig again.
In fact, the above five shortcomings are also a part to endure and persevere. It just causes serious stress. I had to suffer from anxiety disorders and depression because I overlapped with my work at work. Besides, it's hard to reach women who don't like baldness. Even if you continue well, you stop the relationship just in case you don't like the wig. How many people can understand this? I get worried first, so I couldn't be in a relationship completely. Still, I found someone who understood me, but I had to break up for another reason. Since then, I'm worried that I'll be able to find another person like that. However, it's still really comfortable to take it off. It's so comfortable. Now I'm scared to go out without a hat because I don't have a lot of hair, but at least I can stay at home comfortably. And hats are much more comfortable than wigs. You just have to worry about my appearance for now. Other things are so comfortable. It was really good when I first wore the wig. I felt like I had a new life. But I've always had to live an anxious and hard life with the feeling of hiding me. I already know them. It's okay, but I've always felt like a wig wall is blocking me when I meet people I've met since I wore them. I'm still in my early 30s, but now that I'm living, appearance is important, but I don't think it's all. It's painful and expensive to give up a normal life for your appearance. It's hard for me to give up my appearance yet. So I'm going to give up for a while and save money and do a transplant. I might fail, but it's better to try and fail, right? I hope it helps those who start wigs and those who are having a hard time with them. And, I may feel more uncomfortable than others because I have a sensitive personality.
