Tofu. Deuk is bigger than thread
great effect on the prevention of osteoporosis in women
Recently, a new study has been published at the Chinese University in Hong Kong showing that Isoflavones, a vegetable estrogen contained in soybeans, prevents osteoporosis by strengthening women's 骨質, attracting great attention.
According to a recent report from Hong Kong, a three-year study of 134 Chinese women aged 31 to 40 found that the substance greatly reduces bone loss in women, which scientists believe is because soybeans are a health food beneficial to the human body.
Recently, a research report that the ingredients in tofu may cause dementia due to excessive tofu consumption (more than three times a week) has raised a harmful theory of tofu, causing a big stir in Asian communities, including Korea and Japan, which love tofu.
However, eating beans has beneficial effects on health, such as reducing the risk of breast cancer by improving the level of fat in the blood, so no specific research results can be used to argue.
Dr. White emphasized that the fact that the substance in question affects the molecular structure of brain cells is only one hypothesis that it can be related to the promotion of aging in the brain, but in the case of women, just like whether or not they consume estrogen after menopause, tofu should adjust their intake by considering their own constitution.
This is the first time that a hypothesis has been raised about the negative effects of the isofurabon. But even if the negative effects of the material prove to be true, it can be handled simply in the manufacturing of processed soybeans, he says.
Dr. White, who emphasized that the study was based on statistical results, said that the probability of tofu being a risk factor for dementia among the Japanese studied is 20-25 percent of all Japanese, and that only 3 percent of the 65-year-old population may have dementia due to tofu lovers, assuming that their tofu intake is moderate on average.
