I just turned 20. I've been told I don't have hair since I was in middle school (I don't remember it being severe) when I developed scalp inflammation for the first time. My scalp inflammation got worse in high school, got better, and I repeated it, but after taking a recent picture, I'm starting to worry that I don't have a lot of hair. I still have scalp inflammation based on the top of my head... I don't think any of my family members (mother's, relatives) have hair loss. My mom says that when I study, I keep touching my hair, so the inflammation gets worse and my hair loses.

I'm trying to go to the hospital, and I wonder how the hospital diagnoses me. Also, I'm thinking about getting a scalp tattoo because I think I'll lose my confidence if I go around like this, so please tell me what you think. I'm also worried that scalp tattoos will adversely affect my scalp before treatment. I heard there's also a medicine like Propecia. I wonder if it'll suit me
