When I started looking at the Hair Transplant because of hair loss on the top of my head, I was worried about the scar, so I didn't consider the incision method at all. However, as I recently received hospital counseling and looked into it more personally, I am changing my mind that the incision method may be more suitable for me.
In the non-excision method, I think that when the same parameter is transplanted, the donor site will inevitably be wider than the incision method. Although technology has advanced a lot these days, I think the possibility of hair follicles being damaged may be higher than the incision method due to the nature of the collection method.
If the scope of hair loss is wider in the future, you may need to have additional surgery. The doctor said he even considered that possibility during surgery, but I think we should save the donor hair on the back of our hair as much as possible.
Also, I thought that incision scarring might not be a bigger problem than I thought because I'd rarely have short hairstyles in the future. Of course, since the incision method is a surgery that directly cuts and sutures the scalp, I think the surgeon's surgical capacity and skill are inevitably more important.
