First of all, I didn't take hair loss medicine or anything. However, I was worried because I was born with a wide forehead. At first, I thought about shrinking my forehead, where the results came out right away and the cost was relatively low. But when I looked up and searched for several reviews, reduction of the forehead can cause scars like white bands, so it seems that people who have undergone reduction surgery are transplanting hair again to cover the scars. So I looked at the hospital with the feeling of having a hair transplant from the beginning.
2) Why did you choose "Daegu Apgujeong Mobiang"
I posted a picture on Daemo and received a lot of estimates. The forehead is lowered by about 1cm, but it varies greatly from hospital to hospital, but the incision is about 3-4 million won and the non-cut is about 4-6 million won. But for me, the hospital, which is located within an easy distance for me to get surgery, came first over the cost. If possible, I wanted to find a good hospital nearby, so I searched for hospitals in Daegu, and I saw Daegu Mobiang Hospital, which has a lot of reviews. In fact, I didn't look into hair transplantation in detail and searched for a hospital, so I didn't know which hospital was good at it, but when I looked at the Daegu Mobian review, it was well done even for me, an outsider. So rather than thinking about it, I thought we should go to the hospital and get an estimate. The only thing I went there and got an estimate was Daegu Mobian.
2) Hospital facilities, head of department, director's consultation
You can see the hospital almost immediately if you go out exit 21 of Beomeo Station. It was on the second floor of a large building on the left. The facility was neat and nice, and I had a reservation, so I was able to enter right away without waiting time except for filling out the personal information of my first visit.
If you go in, you will have a scalp test first, and the doctor will diagnose your scalp condition, take pictures, and check the progress of hair loss. When I got a transplant estimate, I told the doctor that I didn't have hair loss, but I was worried about the forehead width, and he explained that the ideal forehead height was about 7-7.5cm and cut it with a ruler. If you draw two guidelines to match the forehead ratio, but if you draw it with a slightly different ratio or forehead design, it was a method of choosing a line that I prefer more.
I reduced it by about 1cm and when I lowered the height to a certain extent, the teacher said it could be awkward if the hairline on the side line remained the same, so he took the transplant to the side line and estimated it. A total of 3,200mo estimates came out and 7.3 million won came out as non-cut-free feet. The director explained it kindly and answered all the questions. It was good. The manager also received price explanations and other inquiries well. In particular, I called several times to ask questions after deciding on surgery, and it was good that you answered in detail and kindly every time.
3) What I felt before, during, and after surgery
Before the surgery, I was nervous and it was my first time having sleep anesthesia, so I was very nervous. Also, crucially, I thought about what if I showed a lot after the surgery. I didn't have a vacation after the surgery. Still, as the surgery schedule approached, I was looking forward to it, and as a result, I was able to receive it well.
It was the hardest thing to lie on your stomach during surgery. When I woke up after about 10 minutes of sleep anesthesia, I had to put my face on a neck pillow or something and lie down awake for hours, but my neck was stiff and my face was tingling. Still, when I asked the teachers to take a break, they took the convenience right away and adjusted the floorboard temperature in case it was cold, so there was no big problem. However, in the middle of the session, I felt a tingling sensation as if the anesthesia on the back of my head had been relieved, but I was just holding it in thinking it was like that, but when I asked after the collection was over, I had to tell you if it hurt.. I'm done with the surgery, but if you're sick during the surgery, make sure to tell the doctor. I often go to the bathroom because I'm on an IV during surgery, but when I looked in the mirror in the bathroom, I was bleeding a lot, so I was running on my neck and I was not feeling well.. I was grateful that the teachers helped me, held the IV by hand, and wiped my blood. 3,200 hair and 33 hair
After the surgery, I thought it was entirely up to me and did my best to manage it. However, I was worried because I was a college student, so I had to go to school continuously and it should not be obvious that I had surgery, but fortunately, it didn't stand out much in appearance except on the day of surgery. However, even if I could shampoo, I had to wash my bangs gently, so I couldn't help my slightly oily hair. I lasted a week because I wore a beanie that the hospital gave me or a cap hat very carefully. At the surgical site, it throbbed and stung about once a week. It was difficult to wash my hair because the back of the head collection was also bruised, but it was bearable after about two days after taking painkillers. On the 10th day, I visited the hospital and received scaling and laser treatment, and the doctor said that it was well received.
4) follow-up management
After about two weeks of surgery, you will visit once (I visited on day 10) and you will receive scalp scaling and laser treatment. In fact, about six days after the surgery, there was no problem in daily life, and the redness of the transplant site almost disappeared, and it only appeared as a short cut hair. So I thought the surgery went really well.
5) Kindness, know-how
Not only the director but also the teachers were kind, so I was able to get surgery as if I were being treated. In particular, when planting on the director's transplant site, each mother proceeds rhythmically, and I felt that he was skilled.
So I was more comfortable planting than harvesting.
6) Family, relatives, and acquaintances' reactions
On the day of the surgery, it was a bit obvious, so if people around you saw it, they might notice, but since I've been wearing hats since the next day, people around me don't know at all. However, I wore a hat because I was constantly doing outside activities, but there was a throbbing sound. For those who are going to have surgery, I think it would be better to have surgery when you have time on vacation or so that you can just stay comfortable at home. Anyway, if you wear a hat, the people around you don't know.
7) What about now after 12 days?
It's nice to be able to wash your fingerprints where you used to wash your hair now. Until the 9th day, I had to make shampoo water in a spray empty bottle that the hospital gave me, spray it, and rinse it. Now, it's okay to wash your hair with a towel when you dry your hair. However, the hair you planted now doesn't grow like this, but it's going to fall out once, so I'll have to wait.
