The word "hair transplant" came to my mind one day in March, when I was receiving an application for unpaid leave, which was chaotic due to a major strike. I wanted to get a hair transplant, but I didn't have time, so I had an unexpected opportunity to think about it, so I quickly joined a hair loss cafe such as Daemo and collected information.

As I was gathering information because I wanted to proceed as soon as possible because I was worried that the strike would be dramatically concluded and the period of unpaid leave would be shortened, the word mammoth caught my eye. " Oh? The name of the hospital is unique? " With that thought, I searched for hospital information such as the review of surgery, and I quickly applied for counseling.

Momos contacted me shortly after, and luckily, I was able to make a consultation reservation the very next day due to another person's change in date. The next day, I visited after using the monthly leave, and it was easy to find because it was located right next to Apgujeong Station, and there was a parking space on the ground and underground in the building, so it was good that free parking was available during the hospital visit. When I opened the door and went into the hospital, the counseling manager, who helped me make a consultation reservation the day before, welcomed me and guided me to the counseling room.

The consultation session took about an hour with the head of the consultation office, listening to questions and answers such as diagnosis of hair loss, expected sketch of transplant site, expected hair follicles, and before and after transplantation of similar cases, and explaining the progress, reservation of surgery date, surgery amount, and discount rate to the head of the consultation office for about 30 minutes, and it took about 3 hours and 30 minutes to ask all questions because the consultation time was not short.

Honestly, I liked everything from one to ten, including kindness, expertise, the latest medical devices, and one-person counseling for private counseling, but due to the higher cost of surgery than I thought, I only booked surgery and received two other consultations, but I thought Mammoth was my first consultation, but it wasn't.

One was a commonly-known factory-type hospital that was heavily discounted by an acquaintance's recommendation and operated as a very inexpensive non-cut planting machine for 35 million won, where the counseling chief conducted most of the consultation and the expected sketch was also done by the counseling chief. During the consultation, the director who will proceed with the surgery came in, and he was wearing only a gown and a face full of fatigue on his face, perhaps during the surgery. Of course, I didn't doubt my skills as I had a long career, but since it was an important surgery, I couldn't help but want to get it from a medical staff in the best condition.

After receiving counseling from two other hospitals, I compared it to the mammoth hairline I first received. It's a little burdensome in terms of money, but comparing the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the confident and professional counseling time of the director, the latest medical equipment and devices that looked better than other hospitals, and the privateness that was only for me, I decided to perform the surgery in Mammoth, thinking that it's not a penny-pinching surgery but for my body.

Hair loss that came to me in my early 30s, which is an introvert and sensitive to other people's eyes, is a disaster..There were no words that came to mind except disaster.

The preparation time was always long because of the hair that didn't go as I thought before going out, and even the hair that happened to be set up well often sank and cracked over time, exposing the scalp. When I went out, I thought that if I suddenly blew, I would reveal my feelings, so I used to hurriedly cover my head with my hands and drop my head, and my self-esteem gradually declined due to repeated situations.


Even if I went to the sea with my lovers or friends, I stayed away from the water because I was worried that my hair would get wet, and I had to prepare a hat in case of sudden wind when traveling. As a result, there were many times when I was upset because I didn't like the picture because all I could see was a picture of me wearing a hat.


I like to go to the theater and watch movies. I like the movie itself, but the big reason is that unlike the outside, which is affected by the weather such as rain and wind, it can maintain its current appearance and gives psychological stability because it is hard to see the surroundings due to the dark interior. Nevertheless, I haven't watched a 4DX movie yet. I haven't had the challenge because I thought it would be hard to fix my hair because of the seats that move around and the wind and the water splashing to give it life, but I have a small hope that this surgery will get a good result so that I can watch it without caring if my hair splatters and flies in the wind!


Until now, in my life in my 30s, I think there were many things I wanted to do or gave up because of hair loss.

It's still right after the hair transplant surgery, so I don't know what the result will be, but after the surgery, Director Seok Ji-woong's "It's good." That's great. He showed me a hand mirror with the words, and I don't know if it was obvious that his forehead, which had been empty for a long time, was full, but I choked up inside.
