This is a review of hair transplantation at Apgujeong Mammoth Hairline Clinic.
About five years ago, I received the first hair transplant by incision at another hospital, but the rate was not high, so I was looking for a hospital to receive the second one. I got to know a hospital called Mammoth, which suggested the smallest number of parameters among many hospitals, and although I did not visit many hospitals, it was judged that it was a hospital with an established systematic process because there were reviews that informed the surgical records (furry statistics, transplant quality index, etc.) only in Mammoth, and that it is a single-person hospital, has abundant surgical experience, and accepts the world's knowledge about hair transplants from academic societies (ISHRS, AS.
The consultation took about 2 hours, and first, I received general guidance on hair transplantation with the head of the department. (Collection method, estimated cost, discount, follow-up care, etc.) Then I had a consultation with the director, and I think I talked to him for quite a long time. You explained in detail the process difference between the original and generic drugs, where the equipment used in the hospital is, how the surgery proceeds, and the incidence rate. I think it was a very beneficial time because I could explain things that I didn't know well and hear things that I couldn't even know well on the Internet.
After the consultation, he took care of his scalp as a service, and the scalp care worker was so kind and it was so cool to get a massage, so I felt refreshed. It was really nice.
I thought I should get surgery at this hospital, and I thought that my hair on the occipital side was not very long, so I couldn't cover all the areas where I shaved my hair when collecting hair follicles, so I scheduled the surgery after a month.
Surgery was performed in the order of waiting (reclosing), slits, collection, rest (lunch time), and transplantation.
- 1) Waiting (change): Before going into surgery, it's time to change into clothes given by the hospital, go to the bathroom and eat snacks. I also choose my lunch menu.
- 2) Slits: The process of creating places for hair follicles to be implanted. You experience the first anesthesia, and it gives you a cooling feeling and relieves pain by anesthesia. Fortunately, my forehead was rather hard, so it didn't hurt much. Anesthesia is performed until the pain is not felt at all.
- 3) Collection: The process of collecting hair follicles on the occipital side in a prone position. The scalp on the occipital side is soft, so the pain of anesthesia has increased by more than 1.5 times compared to the forehead side. But overall, it's tolerable. I think it was the hardest to lie face down during the collection process.
- 4) Rest (Lunchtime): The first half is over and the waiting time menu is ready. I thought it would be better to transplant quickly, so I ate lunch deliciously quickly and prepared to enter the second half.
- 5) Transplantation: Transplantation is similar to the slit process, and since it's been a while since the slit, we proceed with additional anesthesia.
After the operation, the doctor told me it was good and explained briefly about the overall results of the operation, and it was finished after wearing a bandage on the head and a beanie. I'd like to say thank you because I feel you've been through a lot.
There was nothing I had to worry about because the hospital carefully prepared all the things I needed after hair transplantation, such as transplant shampoo, fresh spray, and neck pillow. It was nice that all the employees were kind. To be honest, I was satisfied with everything.

I had a hair transplant on August 27th. It's already been two weeks because time goes by so fast. I went to the hospital yesterday and checked the progress of the second week. The director looked at it and told me that it is time for the dark age to begin, and I will come back after I fall out, so don't be too anxious. They said you can think of it as a process of losing your hair.
I filled in the M-shape a little and transplanted it around the front and top of the head. A total of 4,000mo was held. When I consulted again, the director recommended that it was the most natural to look at my head and hair style, so I trusted and left it to him.
I was so nervous when I entered the operating room, but I had a stinging feeling when the injection came in, and other than that, I was fine. I usually cut my hair short and wear a hat often, so I thought about it and proceeded with a non-cut shaved head. The director did everything from collection to transplantation, and I felt that he was meticulous while watching.
