After learning that there is a hairline hair transplant earlier this year, I have been thinking about what kind of surgery it is, what are the side effects, and whether I can put my forehead down for almost five months. Even after I made a reservation at another hospital in the middle, I continued to search and consult to see if there was a better hospital.
A. First of all, I skip hospitals that smell like brokers who write ignorant comments on things like, "Please recommend a hospital."
B. When I went to the consultation, I also filtered out the hospital where the doctor felt like he came out in the middle of the surgery.
It's easy for a hospital like this to make a consultation appointment, but it made me dizzy to think that I would eventually come out in the middle of my surgery and draw a picture on someone else's forehead and consult. Wouldn't it be hard to concentrate on surgery when you're distracted by the most experienced medical staff...?
C. Finally, we also filtered out hospitals that forced us to lower our forehead lines unconditionally.
After considering these three things, I decided to be a Mammoth Hairline member. Mammoth had a lot of reviews, but it didn't feel like a commentary work, so I only get a consultation appointment on days when there is no surgery, and leave it empty for the patient for a few hours, and Director Seok Ji-woong recommended me not to lower my forehead line.
2. two weeks after surgery
A. On the day of surgery
- The operation begins at 9:20 a.m. and proceeds as a process of slit - collection - lunch - transplantation. Local anesthesia really hurt, but it's tolerable... I don't think you need to prefer sleep anesthesia because of local anesthesia. And I had a little headache after collection, so I took one Tylenol and proceeded with the transplant. I don't feel any pain other than that.
- After the surgery, carefully wrap the bandage and put a beanie on it. I should not sleep sideways when I sleep, so I slept with my neck pillow almost sitting down and my body and arms tied with my shirt. I was really tired, but I endured it mentally because I thought I couldn't ruin the hard surgery.
B. The day after surgery ~ a week
- If you come to the hospital the next day, wash your hair and teach you how to shampoo your foam. When I washed and dried my hair, it was covered up without anyone knowing if it was the person who really had surgery the day before. If it doesn't come down in the middle of your forehead, I think you can do it without anyone knowing.
- However, until a week passed, the collection site was so painful, and I felt a little tingling all day. I couldn't sleep without taking Tylenol for about a week. And I slept with my body and arms tied with a shirt the whole time, and I think I slept with only a neck pillow because I got used to it.
C. Until the day after 2 weeks have elapsed
- After a week, the headache at the collection site disappeared, and the cold shower was used to it, so there was no inconvenience in living.
- I couldn't wash my hair, so I smelled a little and had dead skin cells in the transplant area, but the dead skin cells were fine because I couldn't see them as long as it wasn't windy when I put my head down.
3. Conclusion
So far, I'm very satisfied. It's filled with a simple m shape, but it has the effect of making your face look smaller when you flip your head over.
From now on, even if my hair grows strong or curly, I don't think I'll regret it because I only covered the m-shaped part.
I think it would be good if you all looked for a lot of reviews + side effects or non-recommendations, thought carefully, and then had minimal surgery!

I had a hair transplant on August 27th. It's already been two weeks because time goes by so fast. I went to the hospital yesterday and checked the progress of the second week. The director looked at it and told me that it is time for the dark age to begin, and I will come back after I fall out, so don't be too anxious. They said you can think of it as a process of losing your hair.
I filled in the M-shape a little and transplanted it around the front and top of the head. A total of 4,000mo was held. When I consulted again, the director recommended that it was the most natural to look at my head and hair style, so I trusted and left it to him.
I was so nervous when I entered the operating room, but I had a stinging feeling when the injection came in, and other than that, I was fine. The anesthesia was done properly, so there was no pain after that. The process of collecting and transplanting followed, about 5 hours? 6 hours?I think I was in the hospital.
I usually cut my hair short and wear a hat often, so I thought about it and proceeded with a non-cut shaved head. The director did everything from collection to transplantation, and I felt that he was meticulous while watching.
After the surgery, he prescribed the medicine and emphasized that you should avoid alcohol and cigarettes for at least two weeks.
It was okay because I didn't smoke, and I drink alcohol sometimes, so it wasn't too hard to endure it.
For 2-3 days after the surgery, it was a little hard because of the itching rather than the pain. It's quite hard to endure what my hands keep trying to do. Still, there is no big inconvenience after that period.
