[Wig Tips] Please help me

I'm a man in his mid-20s who is now in his first month of wearing a wig.
I got a shadow perm for my wig, and my original hair is straight, but my bangs look a bit unnatural. When you wear a wig, do you cut your bangs shorter than the wig? Or do you cut the wig and the length of your main hair the same?

Currently using a clip type part wig, the top of my head is a bit empty, and the front, sides, and back of my hair are fine...
