WHAT WE SAY: Hairmax is well designed, well manufactured and well packaged. However it is rather a basic product. Hairmax have a patent on their mirror system of splitting a single laser into multiple beams, we are not convinced this is a good way to disperse laser energy. In fact, the 5 laser beam and 9 laser beam Hairmax units only actually contain 1 laser module, so the use of the word "beam" is probably misleading. The safety label on the Hairmax states 4.5mW per centimetre MAXIMUM. We feel this is also misleading as no beam is 4.5mW. We found the 9 laser beams to measure between 1 and 4mW, we found no beam measured over 4mW. Perhaps the Hairmax label should read "up to 4mW per centimetre?" The wavelength of the Hairmax was measured at 645nm, not the 650nm as advertised by Hairmax. But to their credit their label does say + or - 5nm, so they are within their laser wavelength specifications at least. Even without using our test equipment by holding the Hairmax against a shiny surface it is evident by the uneven reflected laser light that laser output is greatest near the handle and lowest near the top - furthest away from the single laser module. Interestingly the Hairmax seems to have a metal weight inside to give the otherwise light weight design, the added perception of quality. The Hairmax has an annoying 4 second beep. We are unsure if you are supposed to count these beeps to know when your session time has completed or it is to remind you that you are using a laser device on your head, probably the latter to let you know it is still turned on. All in all, this unit looks fancy but is now extremely over priced for the performance.

OUR RATING & FINAL COMMENT: The Hairmax is well constructed, but overpriced for an indirect and widely uneven 25mW laser output. There do not appear to be any special features in this unit and the plastic mirrors used to split their laser appears to contribute to the loss of laser intensity. Three stars have been awarded to the Hairmax Laser Comb due to its quality construction, yet otherwise basic design.

일단 헤어맥스라고 완벽한것은 아니군요...

요약하자면 일단 출력이 4.5인데 반사경을 이용했기때문에

출력이 1에서 4mA 로 불규칙적이며, 거울을 통한 반사방식이기때문에

레이저 모듈에서 떨어져있는 레이저빛는 출력이 떨어진다고 하네요.

그외로는 플라스틱거울을 이용한 빛 반사형식이 그리 좋은방법이

아니라고 말하며 기능에 비해 극단적으로 비싼 가격을 단점으로 꼽았습니다.

그래도 별새개로 2위네요.

밑에 레이모는 탈모에 대한 과학적 근거와 출처가 없는 LED와

고출력 레이저, 그리고 충전지를 이용해서 출력이 일정이상 사용하면

현저히 떨어진다는 점을 단점으로 꼽아 별 한개 수여했습니다.

디자인면에서는 높은 점수를...

전 엇그제 헤어가드 질러버렸는데 이놈은 어떨까요?...

별 두개반?? 일단 헤어맥스에 비해 적은 출력이 단점인데

레이저 모듈이 3개+4개니까 평균적으로는 헤어맥스와 효율면에서는

비슷할꺼 같고 문제라면 780짜리 레이저의 실효성측면인데...

요즘들어 갑자기 머리 빠지니까 쓸데없는거 알아보는데 시간을

허비하는군요..나가서 운동이나 해야지..원...
