Hello! This is the review of the hair transplant day of Apgujeong Mammoth Hairline Clinic.
I visited the Mammoth Hairline clinic on July 6th for consultation and scheduled surgery for September 2nd.
The reason why I chose Mammoth Hairline was that it used expensive equipment such as diamond slits and preservatives, good reviews about the operation, and detailed explanations and parts I didn't know well during the consultation.
[On the day of surgery]
I visited the hospital until 9:40 in the morning and was guided to the waiting room for surgery.
After changing my clothes, I took a break, decided on surgery information and lunch menu, and I was guided to the operating room and moved.

1. Final Design Confirmation
I finally checked the design to transplant with the doctor in the operating room.
The M shape was deep, and the line was drawn with a better design using a little more parameters than when consulting.
I only looked at the line design and I already liked it!!!
2. anesthesia at the transplant site
It can sting a little at the moment of anesthesia, but the anesthesia was quick, so the pain was tolerable at the moment of anesthesia.
If there is a stinging part due to less anesthesia even during surgery, additional anesthesia will be given immediately, so if it stings, it would be good to talk right away.
3. Slits at the implant site
It is the work of making a place to plant the collected hair follicles.
The anesthesia was in progress, so it didn't hurt, and it lasted for about 30 to 40 minutes.
There is less anesthesia during the slit, so if you feel pain, you will be given additional anesthesia right away.

In my criteria it was 1.5 times more painful than anesthesia at the transplant site hahaha
After a little anesthesia in the collection area, the anesthesia spreads and it hurts less, but it definitely hurts more than the transplant area
5. hair follicle collection
Lie on your stomach and start collecting hair follicles.
I had a lot of hair follicles to collect, so it took about an hour and a half.
There was no pain during the collection because it was anesthetized, and it was a little difficult to put pressure on my face because I had to lie on my stomach for a long time.
If you tell me the middle part of this, I can raise my face for a while and take a break.
6. lunch and rest
Before entering the operating room, prepare the menu for lunch in the waiting room.
There is also a toothbrush set so that you can eat and brush your teeth, so I brushed my teeth after eating, rested for a while, and went into the operating room.
I went to the hospital on an empty stomach in the morning because I was nervous on the day of the surgery and my stomach hurt during the surgery, and the lunch box after collection was so goodcrying
7. Transplantation
We now plant the collected hair follicles in the transplant site.
I looked at the ceiling in the same position as I did with the slit and proceeded to lie down comfortably. (I even dozed off for a while.)(laughs)
Transplantation can also weaken the anesthetic effect, so if you tell me you have pain, you can proceed with additional anesthesia right away.
8. Final clean-up after transplantation
When about 10% of hair follicles are left, take a look at the forehead line symmetry, and if it is okay, the final finish will be done with the density reinforcement work with the remaining 10% hair follicles.
After the transplant, I got up from the bed, looked in the mirror, and saw the postoperative image, and when I compared it while looking in the mirror, I couldn't help but laugh at the definitive change.
9. Wrap it up
After the surgery, she'll put a bandage on her and put a beanie on her
The beanie is a role of fixing the bandage wrapped around your hair so that you don't come off, so you have to come to get shampoo the day after the surgery, so you have to sleep with a beanie on the day of the surgery.

드디어 제가 모발이식 2일 차를 맞았습니다. 아직도 수술 받던 날이 생생하네요. 사실 병원 오기 전까지는 ‘과연 내가 잘한 선택일까?’ 하는 고민이 많았는데, 막상 수술실에 들어서고 나니 생각보다 차분하게 진행됐습니다.
대형병원 출신이신 양유군 원장님께서 직접 디자인 라인을 잡아주실 때는, 그냥 단순히 앞머리만 채워 넣는 게 아니라 제 얼굴형과 이마 비율까지 고려해서 세심하게 설명해주셨어요.

안녕하세요. 타고난 m자 이마로 수술을 계속 고민하다가 지인에게 수술을 권유받고 상담을 돌아보게 되었습니다.사실 상담 전까지만 해도 정말 수술 예약을 할 수 있을지 확신은 없었고, 서울을 가야될까 고민도 많이 했었어요. 부산에서 꽤 유명한 병원을 몇군데 돌아보고 마지막으로 간 곳이 리즈모였습니다. 지금까지의 상담은 주로 실장님과 이야기를 하다가 원장님이 잠깐 들어오셔서 라인을 그려주시는 정도였어요.그런데 리즈모의원은 김두솔 원장님께서 수술 방법, 삭발 범위, 모낭수와 가격 책정 방법을 정말 자세하게 설명해 주시더라구요. 꼼꼼한 성격의 원장님을 보니 수술을 맡겨도 되겠다는 확신이 들었어요. 1. 사전관리 수술 전에 두피 관리를 해주십니다. 두피 스케일링을 하고나니까 정말 수술을 앞두고 있구나 싶었어요. 2. 수술 전 상담수술날이 되면 먼저 원장님과 디자인에 들어갔어요. 몇번을 다시 그렸다가 지웠다가 했던 것 같아요. 대칭 맞추기 위해서 정말 꼼꼼하게 그려주시고, 수술 전 주의사항도 한 가지씩 세세하게 설명해 주십니다. 수술 전 동반 탈락이나 모낭염 등의 부작용(?)도 설명해 주시는데, 병원에 연락하면 회복할 수 있는 치료방법도 함께 알려주셨어요. 3. 수술 수술실에 들어가기 전에 소독을 했습니다. 위생 관리가 철저하다는 생각이 들었어요. 대기실에서 옷을 갈아입고 수술실에 들어가면 삭발을 합니다. 이때 마음이 복잡해지면서 이제 돌이킬 수 없다는 생각이 들었는데, 이때만 잘 참으시면 돼요.. 수술은 앉아서 진행하고 넷플릭스도 볼 수 있어서 지루하지는 않았습니다. 원장님을 비롯한 수술방 간호사 선생님들이 다 친절하시고 제 컨디션이 괜찮은지도 계속 살펴주셨어요. 그리고 모낭이 카운팅 되는걸 확인할 수 있었습니다. I had a hair transplant on August 27th. It's already been two weeks because time goes by so fast. I went to the hospital yesterday and checked the progress of the second week. The director looked at it and told me that it is time for the dark age to begin, and I will come back after I fall out, so don't be too anxious. They said you can think of it as a process of losing your hair.
I filled in the M-shape a little and transplanted it around the front and top of the head. A total of 4,000mo was held. When I consulted again, the director recommended that it was the most natural to look at my head and hair style, so I trusted and left it to him.
I was so nervous when I entered the operating room, but I had a stinging feeling when the injection came in, and other than that, I was fine. The anesthesia was done properly, so there was no pain after that. The process of collecting and transplanting followed, about 5 hours? 6 hours?I think I was in the hospital.
I usually cut my hair short and wear a hat often, so I thought about it and proceeded with a non-cut shaved head. The director did everything from collection to transplantation, and I felt that he was meticulous while watching.
After the surgery, he prescribed the medicine and emphasized that you should avoid alcohol and cigarettes for at least two weeks.
It was okay because I didn't smoke, and I drink alcohol sometimes, so it wasn't too hard to endure it.
For 2-3 days after the surgery, it was a little hard because of the itching rather than the pain. It's quite hard to endure what my hands keep trying to do. Still, there is no big inconvenience after that period.
It hasn't been long since the surgery, so I don't know any noticeable changes. Still, as the director said, I believe it will be abundant if you take care of it step by step and wait. I hope it can be a little bit of reference to those who are worried like me.
