피나스테리드로는 쉐딩을 겪지 않는 게 일반적인 것으로 알고 있습니다.
다음은 몇개월전 제가 올렸던 글이니 참고하시기 바랍니다.

Usually not, but it really depends on the side effect. If finasteride
causes a telogen effluvium, then definitely less effect. On the other
hand, if you experience sexual dysfunction or pain in the groin, that
would not reduce finasteride's success in promoting hair growth.
일반적으로 그렇지 않지만, 실제로 그것은 부작용과 관계가 있습니다. 만약
피나스트리드가 휴지기 탈모(telogen effluvium)를 유발한다면, 확실히

그러니까, 만약 피나스트리드를 복용한 뒤 멀쩡하던 머리가 11 ~ 16 주 사이에
갑자기 많이 빠지기 시작해서 쉐딩처럼 느껴진다면 휴지기 탈모를 의심해
볼 수 있겠지요. 드문 현상이라고 하고, 저도 피나스트리드로는 겪어 보지
못했습니다.

Please advise. thanks. "Wow! That is a complicated question, but I think I understand what you are asking. I have no doubt that you have experienced at least one bout of telogen effluvium. In a simple, uncomplicated case of telogen effluvium, some physiological stress causes anagen hairs to shift into the telogen phase. Barring any intervening factors, the hair will begin to grow back again in 3 to 4 months and will have the same texture as the hair shaft that was shed. A telogen effluvium affects hair in all parts of the scalp, including those areas, which are normally uninvolved in MPB, i.e. the sides and the back of the head. It does not cause any 'specific spots', but is a diffuse shedding of hair. Within a year, almost all patients will have regained all their hair. However, if the telogen effluvium occurs at a time when all the factors that cause MPB are operative, those hairs that are risk for MPB will grow back as finer hairs from smaller follicles. In fact, for some unfortunate patients, a period of telogen effluvium will herald an accelerated phase of MPB. You've probably read of cases in which patients seemed to have lost all their hair 'overnight'. These are extreme examples, but you can conclude from them that 'telogen effluvium just caused an earlier onset (at least a few years) of MPB'.""
Dr Richard Lee, MD answered: "Merck does not report hair shedding due to Propecia. However, there are at least a few cases reported that suggests a telogen effluvium, which typically started 11 to 16 weeks after initiating therapy with finasteride. I don't have accurate follow-up reports of these patients, so I can't tell you whether or not they continued taking Propecia. Nor can I tell you about the final outcome of their hair. Anyway, if they discontinued taking finasteride, but used an alternative effective method for reducing the DHT in the scalp, there would not be any reason to expect that the replacement hairs would be of the same quality than the hairs that were shed in the telogen effluvium. You have an exceedingly complex medical history and I'm not at all sure that your increased shedding is due to taking Propecia."
